Our e-Design services are for the do-it-yourselfer, the option for great interior design on a budget. We will give you everything you need to know to create a stunning space, including a furniture plan, fabric and paint samples, a shopping list, and thorough instructions for turning your e-Design into a reality.
How it works:
e-Design projects are created by a Halcyon House designer and are a collaboration of your wants and needs and our expertise. Selections for e-Design projects are available retail stores online or locally, as opposed to the custom and trade-only options used for full-service Halcyon House design clients.* We believe sustainability is a key element of design, so we happily give new life to old pieces whether they are already yours or you want to search for them in your favorite second-hand store or flea market.
Where our full-service projects often include many hours of face-to-face meetings with a Halcyon House designer, communication for e-Design projects happen only via email with a Halcyon House designer.
For e-Design projects, we rely on digital photographs and measurements of your space that you provide, so we never actually visit your home. Once you sign on as an e-Design client, we will provide you with everything you need to know in order to send us precise photographs and measurements. This will ensure that our finished design is completely personalized for your space. We will also have you fill out our e-Design client profile so we know all about you. The more we know about your likes and dislikes, the better we are able to create a design that represents your unique personality and style.
Once we have all of this information we get to work on your e-Design project. Then in 6 to 8 weeks, you will receive your personalized plan for creating an inspired interior by Halcyon House. Here is what you can expect to receive:
1. Electronic concept board and basic floor plan, list of paint, fabrics and finishes.
2. Detail instructions on implementing your design
3. We send you a design folder that includes concept photos, a floor-plan of your room, furniture placement drawn to scale, selections for furniture and accessories, sketches and elevations of important details for your space, an organized shopping guide complete with pricing. This handy book will fit perfectly in your bag if you go shopping and want to take your design plan with you!

Sample e-Design Pricing
Sample design fees are based on the average scope of work. Some rooms may require more or less design and pricing may be adjusted accordingly. Custom elevations are available at additional costs.
